3 years of experience In 2018, I started programming in Unity and .NET using C#.
I loved it and soon I was spending more time making games
than playing games. I didn’t finish a lot of games,
especially in the beginning. I constantly kept getting new
ideas for new games that I wanted to make.
My goal is to finish my education at Buas and turn my hobby
into a job. During my studies, I will get better at game
programming. I will gain experience in working in different
teams, learning from my mistakes, and sharing knowledge with
other students and professors.
Current education
Creating games is my passion! I have been doing it for Four
years and I want to turn my hobby into my job. At Buas I learn
how to work in teams using industry-standard techniques like
SCRUM.I am a third-year student at the Breda University of Applied
Sciences, I study Creative Media and Game Technologies. I'm in
the programming discipline.
Projects
These are some of the projects I worked on over the last
years.
I first released MidiManager on Itch in 2020,
nowadays MidiManager has its own website and is being
used by a little over 30 individual users every day.
MidiManager is a personal project of mine that I am
very passionate about. It is software that allows
users to bind over 50 different features on the
buttons and sliders of multiple devices.
In my second year at Buas, I created a game engine
and demo game from scratch using C++. Our game
targeted both Windows and PlayStation 5. This meant
that we got to work with the PS5 devkit, which I found
very exciting.
In my first year at Buas, I created a small game for
the Raspberry Pi. This was a great learning
opportunity to create a game that had to run on
limited hardware. This semester made me very aware of
the impact of optimization.

In my first year at Buas I created a Ray Tracer using
C++. The project required a lot of math. This was
usefull refresher because I have been using the same
math concepts in many other projects I worked on in my
years at Buas.

R6 PracticeBox is a game that can be used to practice
skills for Rainbow Six Siege. It is actually more of a
"trainer" than a game. The trainer contains a lot of
trainings that can be customized to the user's liking.
The unique thing about R6-PracticeBox is that you can
practice with screenshots from the game. This is for
example used to learn map callouts. This is also
implemented in the reaction time trainers, where you
need to look for enemies in an image.

In 2020 I made a multiplayer game to play with my
scouting group during the Corona pandemic. The escape
room is full of puzzles that the players must solve. I
used Photon Pun 2.0 for multiplayer. And I used a free
Unity Snaps asset for the environment.
